Assigning a Course
To assign a course, navigate to the Courses tab on the left-side menu. Click Assign Course button on the right side to open the form.
First, select grade/level and subject for the course. Subjects are added in the school settings during onboarding.
❓ Don’t have any subjects to choose from? Go to School Settings > School Setup > Educational Details and make sure you have a list of subjects added and that they are assigned to grades/levels. You can do this in the Subjects and Assign Subjects to Grades/Levels sections.
Select a teacher for the course. You can add more than one teacher if you need.
Basic Subjects are auto-assigned to all students in a class. Subjects of other types (Advanced, Optional, After Class) allow individual enrollment.
Add students. Depending on the type of subject, you’ll either have to select students individually or pick a class to assign the course to.
💡 Courses link teachers, students, and subjects. They can be assigned to specific classes or entire grades.
When ready, click Next. Now, you need to schedule the course. If it’s a one-time occurence, pick a date. If it’s a weekly recurring course, pick the day of the week. Create the schedule and when you’re done, click Assign Course.
