💡 All four payment methods can be activated. But at least one payment method needs to be set as active at a time.
Cash Payments Setup
Select Cash Payment to open the configuration screen. Then, in the Cash Payment Location field, simply provide information where the parents/guardians need to go to pay for fees by cash. Parents/guardians will see this location when they log into the system.
🖋️ For example: school office address can be provided as a cash payment collection location.
💡 Don’t forget to check the box at the top of the page to enable cash payments. Otherwise, it won’t appear as a payment option for parents/guardians.
Bank Transfer Setup
From the Payment Methods screen, open Bank Transfer. Fill in your school’s bank details, so the parents know exactly where to send the payment. You will need to include the recipient name, bank name, account number, and a payment reference/title.
It is advised to ask guardians to put a student’s ID (identification number) or student’s full name and class, so each transfer can be clearly matched to the correct student.
💡 Don’t forget to check the box at the top of the page to enable bank transfer payments. Otherwise, it won’t appear as a payment option for parents/guardians.
🖋️ Transfer title example: [Student ID] - Fee Name.

About Transaction Fees
Mobile money providers charge transaction fees for each payment processed. You can decide who should pay the transaction fees – the school, the guardian, or both.
School covers the 0.50 XAF transaction fee. Guardian covers the full transaction fee. Each side pays half of the transaction fee: 0.25 XAFFee is paid by the School:
Fee is paid by the Guardian:
Fee is split between School and Guardian:
The table you see on the setup screen is pre-filled with the default fee structure by MTN, Orange or PawaPay.
If your school has negotiated custom fees with a provider, feel free to adjust the values in the table. These fees will help calculate totals and keep your records accurate – but they won’t affect the actual fees charged by the provider.
Need help confirming your fees? We recommend contacting your Orange, MTN or PawaPay representative or checking your service agreement.
For more details regarding fees, refer to the provider’s website:
